I am thrilled to introduce you to our new publication, The Informed Floridian. We are “your irreverent guide to living well in the Northern Palm Beaches,” and we intend to live up to that statement. You won’t find any snobbish, high-class exclusivity here. What you will find is some fun, some scintillating, and some questionable stories and ideas for how to make the most out of your life in South Florida.
All of this being said, I hope that you and your friends enjoy our first issue, for we immensely enjoyed preparing it for you. I would also like to take a moment and introduce this issue’s Big Story. We chose the Powerful Pixel project as the cover story because it’s underlying motive is to bring a community together, much like this magazine’s intention.
Through uniting, we can all accomplish something great; in the case of Powerful Pixel, that something just happens to be a World Record. Well if becoming a part of a local-based World Record isn’t enough to give you a sense of community pride, we have also thrown in a donation to a local charity.
