Letter from the Editor
It seems as if just when you think you have seen and done all that the Northern Palm Beaches has to offer, you realize that was just the beginning. Every day I talk with people who have fun and interesting suggestions as to what unique aspect of this area should be focused on in our upcoming issues. I would like to thank all of you who take time to send us your thoughts and ideas.
This issue is yet another example of how when we at The Informed Floridian think we have an unbeatable issue, that’s when we go out and find something to make it even better. From local guides to great locations off of the beaten path, we want those of you who are life-long lovers of the area to be just as enlightened by our issues as those who are here for a weekend tryst. Take your time with this issue, read about the nearly mythical doctor who still makes house calls, the Double Trouble bartenders (I'll leave you hanging on that one), or about the kite-boarding beach where people watching becomes a whole new sport. Additionally, who would have thought that we have such an interesting and active drum, rhythm and dancing culture, right in our backyard? (Whether you participate or not, all are invited to watch listen, and enjoy! Whatever stories you particularly enjoy let us know and let someone else know as well, you too can be a part of the Informed Floridian movement (yes, there is a movement).
